Rainy Day- a collaborative poem)

This poem was created with another classroom in Irving after doing a Dr. Seuss study.  We collaborated on the poem while on skype using google docs.

Rainy Day

The ground outside is wet.
I can’t take out my pet.

We can play and have fun
and wait inside for the sun.

We can wait and read a book
and out the window we can look!

Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss is an author. The author writes the words. We love Dr. Seuss books.

Daytona 500

The Daytona 500 is a race. Start the engines the race is about to start. Cars are racing to the finish line. We like to watch the race cars. The driver who wins gets a trophy.

My Plate

My plate help us eat  healthy. We eat vegetables.

Snowy Directions

The weather has been getting colder!  The kinder-2nd graders have been working on preposition words under, over, and in between.  We created a stop motion video of some cute snowmen helping us with prepositions.

Meteor

We have been so busy!  We learned about meteors during our News 2 You reading.  4th-5th graders created a stop motion video about meteors.

A Hot Air Balloon

I see a hot air balloon in the sky.  A hot air balloon. The pilot flies a hot air balloon.  People ride in the basket. The pilot uses fire by pulling the rope to make it fly. I love hot air balloons.
